INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Friday 8th March 2024

Sonrisas Harmony celebrated this momentus day by recording a video using a very special, meaningful song to women all over the world.

The song ‘One Woman’ was originally recorded 11 years ago by the United Nations for International Women’s Day and Sonrisas Harmony decided that it was time that something happened with the song again.

Many thanks goes to one of our Section Leader, Jane Dales and her husband Graeme for undertaking the audio engineering and mixing.

Thanks also goes to Sam Scasso who did an amazing job as our videographer.

We would also like to pay thanks to Pace Arte and Graeme Park for making a cameo appearance in our video.

What a fantastic night we had.  The fun, energy, happiness, togetherness just oozed throughout the room.  We are so lucky to have such a special bond in which we can laugh, cry, sing, dance, care, love and bond together.

Roll on more good times, this is just the beginning of something very special …….
